death of the founder of the association Culture & Joy
eulogy delivered by Marie-Therese Palenque
April 22, 2010,
at the funeral of Fr CROS.
Abbé Georges CROS
became parish priest Abeilhan from 1954 to 1962.
Very dynamic, he managed his department with a firm hand and strong.
It has always been fascinated by the site of St. Peter,
which was the first parish church Abeilhan.
Often with his flock,
he led a procession to St. Peter's Village,
no recollection again.
In 1955 he bought the land, with the chapel,
on behalf of the Association of Education popular culture & joy.
After his departure in 1962,
he returned from time to time to recharge to St. Peter.
He settled into a chair, canvas
and his breviary in hand,
he meditated in the quiet and serenity site.
He was pleased that the association was revived
for the development of St. Peter.
Although very weak and sick, he came
concelebrated the Mass of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the association in 2005,
with Bishop Claude Azema and the priests Bernard & Raymond Peytavi Malgouyres.
not forget in our prayers those who did so much for our association
and St. Peter.
